The information on this website about the aorta and aortic disease is for general awareness only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for advice from your GP or a specialist. If you are worried about your health or a family member's, please speak to your GP. In an emergency, call 999.

Donations

• Donations are processed securely by JustGiving. Your card issuer may run its own checks, and we are not responsible if it declines a payment.

• Donations are non-refundable unless a mistake was made. If you think you have donated in error, please contact info@aorticcentretrust.co.uk within 30 days.

• Monthly gifts can be cancelled at any time through your JustGiving account.

• Donations are used for our charitable purposes. If an appeal raises more than it needs, or cannot go ahead, we will use the funds where they are most needed.

• Gift Aid: if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in a tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

Stories, messages and photos you send us

When you send us a story, message or photo, you confirm that it is your own, that you have permission from anyone else named or shown in it, and that you are happy for us to publish it on our website and social media. We may edit stories for length and clarity, and we will remove personal details such as home addresses. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.

Using the website

You may view, download and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

• copy or republish content for commercial purposes without our permission

• try to interfere with the website or its security

• post anything unlawful, offensive or misleading

Unless stated otherwise, the content on this website belongs to the Aortic Centre Trust or the people who have shared their stories with us.
